As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed drawing and painting. It was something I could not put down, sort of like an addiction. I sometimes jokingly refer to my gift as a compulsive disorder. And that is the distinction I draw when I think about what is a true artist. We artists do it not for the money, not for the pats on the back, but because we have to.

I enhanced my skill by picking up various books on painting, taking design classes at Milwaukee Area Technical College, and through many years doing portraits and caricatures at local festivals and block parties. I love painting and I always look forward to my next piece..

My influences coming from early envy of comic book artists such as John Bryn and Jack Kirby, as well as fine artists such as Ernie Barnes, Boris Vallejo and Norman Rockwell.

I work with just about any medium. I am enjoying exploring what I can do with the digital world.
